Auld Reekie Edinburgh Art Print

The city of Edinburgh, where I was brought up, hasn't exactly got the prettiest history.  In the 16th and 17th centuries, back when the city was sorrounded by walls, the buildings could only grow tall and the streets and pathways narrow, and such a dense concentration of houses and businesses produced a thick, choking smog from their chimneys, which earned the city 'Auld reekie', which in old Scots means 'old smoky'.

This was actually one of my early pointillism art pieces, but every time I show it to people they love it!  It's been professionally printed on recycled 'silk touch' 250gsm paper, ready to be popped into a frame of your choice or, if you prefer, provided framed  and ready to be hung.

Unframed prints will be dispatched ASAP in strong cardboard tubes.  Framed prints will be framed using white Ikea 'Ribba' 40x50cm frames.  Please note however that I don't always keep a stock of frames, so there may be a delay in the delivery of framed prints.

The original artwork for this is available to purchase - please get in touch with me if you're interested!
